Job Description: Manage the development and execution of the Industrial Automation strategy to improve the profitability and long-term sustainability of the Industrial Automation business, including assessing future alternative operating models, processes and technology to drive improved market expansion and sustainability while generating greater margin efficiencies. Manage the green Industry strategy for Industrial automation, in full collaboration with Corporate strategy, Influence Group, Segments and LoBs. Achieve Master Plan objectives through external growth, manage all M&A files for Industrial Automation from Open to integration plan. Lead a team of experts (SE employees, interns or subcontracted). Ensure consistent and deep Business Analysis (orders, market, key success factors, installed base, competition). Provide Regular updates on market trends and dynamics, new market opportunities. Propose strategy updates, action plans and investment needed to ensure sustainable growth. Telecommuting permitted for 2 days. 20% domestic and international travel to team meetings and to attend various analyst meetings and industry events.

Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree in Business Administration or related field and 5 years of work experience in business analysis and strategy development. Must have 5 years' experience working in Industrial Automation. Also, must have work experience with: (1). 5+ years experience in continuous process industries with knowledge of process control market dynamics including trends for PLCs, DCS and Open Systems; (2). 2+ years experience in industrial automation standards including OPAF, ISA61499, APL; (3). 2+ years experience analyzing IIoT market trends and industrial software; (4). Utilizing Tableau and Python for data mining and analysis of external and internal databases to provide greater insight for the strategic direction of the division; (5). Utilizing excel, python and other data analytic tools to conduct data mining and market researching on customer insights, industry dynamics and emerging technologies; (6). 2+ years experience data mining of Salesforce.com sales and marketing data; (7). 2+ years in Mergers and Acquisitions including maintaining deal books and financial acquisition modeling; (8). Experience working directly with key influencers in Industrial Automation such as the World Economic Forum and industry analysts such as IHS, ARC Advisory Group, Gartner.
