Mid Market Account Executive at Schneider Electric USA, Inc in FRANKLIN, Tennessee

This is a remote sales position. The ideal candidate will be based in the Nashville, TN area with 25% travel to specific accounts. Open to candidates in other US based locations.

Main Responsibilities:

Mid-Market Account Executive is an instrumental member of our National Sales Organization ensuring a wholistic coverage of our high growth, high potential mid-market customer base. This is a sales hunter role responsible for acquiring net new customers, creating new relationships, discovering new opportunities, generating proposals, and closing net new business primarily for the APC brand portfolio.

This is an aggressive sales position with a generous compensation plan and is a launch point for experienced professionals seeking growth and promotion to future sales and leadership roles within Schneider Electric.


  • Develops/Hunts for opportunities through sales & marketing activities to end customers

  • Collaborate with aligned sales roles to close the deals and advance customers to retention coverage model

  • Leverages new technologies, marketing campaigns, and social selling practices to enhance the customer experience and relationships

  • Develops account plans and campaigns towards selected account set

  • Prioritizes internal and external (virtual) resources & executes to meet or exceed sales quota.

  • Will bring new ideas for building new business and creating additional pipeline.


The Mid Market Account Executive is part of a broader territory coverage ecosystem with aligned resources in the field (technical sales) as well as internal (marketing, project support) that ensure the success of the role, and the cohesive coverage of our customers.

Main Requirements

This is a hunter sales role; candidates should be eager sales professionals driven to acquire new customers and reap the rewarding compensation plan tied to success.


  • 3+ years of sales experience in IT related industry preferred

  • Obsessed with the thrill of acquiring new customers

  • Hunger to learn in a collaborative & supportive environment

  • Passion to help customers achieve their ideal objectives via outcome/ solution-based selling

  • Experience prospecting and acquiring new customers via multiple means

  • Experience creating & developing relationships remotely/ virtually

  • Strong business acumen and ability to create account and strategic plans
