Medtronic's Cardiac Ablation Solutions division in searching for a dynamic Electrical Engineering Manager to join our growing team! The chosen candidate will be a strategic leader, dynamic people leader, and innovative thinker. The Cardiac Ablation Solutions team is engaged in developing next generation medical technologies that save lives and improves the quality of living for millions of patients across the world.
A Day in the Life:
•Lead and manage the activities of a team with responsibility for results in terms of electrical design innovation, performance, costs, methods and integration into market leading medical products.
•Set clear objectives, evaluate progress against objectives, and instill performance-oriented culture with a focus on accountability.
•Prioritize the development of engineering talent within a highly capable team by identifying opportunities, providing stretch assignments and challenging individuals to exceed current capabilities while providing meaningful support.
•Guide team members as they take concepts through requirements definition, design implementation, verification, validation, market release and production ramp up.
•Partner with research and technology to assess feasibility and ensure technologies are capable prior to transfer to development.
•Work across multiple programs to identify and implement productivity and process improvements.
•Provide resource allocation guidance through analysis of current and future workload and skill availability.
