The Innovation & Technology team is leading the Electronics Taskforce towards a transformation of Schneider Electrics Electronics Systems, we are looking for a candidate to support each of the divisions across Industrial Automation (IC&D, Digital Factory, Process Automation, China Hub). These very high profile, technical roles with high stakes will provide the right level of central expertise dedicated to each division.
Ideally someone working in Analog Devices (which is based in Boston area)
We target "system architects" (but in the frame of reference of semiconductors' suppliers) meaning a profile able to understand the use cases in order to build the best possible architecture both in term of firmware and hardware.

Building a short term resiliency
Reducing the risk in our offer portfolio
Shaping the future
As Lead Electronics Systems Architect, they will be dedicated to ONE of IA Division in order to de-risk innovation :
Explore / describe potential product platforms in line with business strategies
Organize and drive peer reviews to help innovation teams
Challenge and guide overall component choices with standardization team and innovation team
Guide, support and coach the innovation teams
Support troubleshooting whenever needed
As part of the global Center of Excellence they will take the ownership of one of the electronic dimensions across Industrial Automation (for instance MCU, MPU/FPGA, ...) and make sure they build the right knowledge and actions plan meaning :
Drive a platforming approach for his domain to optimize the solutions across the board
Understand the electronic market trends
Build the right relationship with suppliers
Understand the solutions and moves of our competitors
Build the right technological actions plan and partnership with start-up and universities
Build a clear competence assessment and the associated actions plan
Work with Standardization and procurement to have an up to the mark standard
What qualifications will make you successful?
6 years significant experience in a major electronic player
Masters Degree
Must have proven track record of effectively interacting with senior/executive level management.
Able to build and maintain relationships and work in a matrix
Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure or in ambiguous environments
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement tactical plan to support desired outcome
Self-motivated, willingness to own issues and results/action-oriented
High personal integrity, ethical and professional conduct, ability to develop trust
