B&W's Allen-Sherman-Hoff company division is seeking a Product Support Specialist who will have the primary function of supporting the A-S-H aftermarket parts business. The support specialist would be one of the initial recipients and reviewers of incoming internal requests for support from the company's customer relations managers. Required support would include researching company contract and product drawings, contract Bills of Materials, vendor drawings, and previous purchase orders. The specialist would be responsible for providing feedback with recommendations to address the internal requests.

The Product Support Specialist position would include the following job functions:

• Review incoming internal requests for support from the company's customer relations managers.
• Research company contract and product drawings, contract Bills of Materials, vendor drawings, and previous purchase orders in order to identify replacement parts or answer technical questions providing accurate feedback.
• Work as a member of the Product Support Group as needed to provide the required level of support. Common areas of support that may be requested by the customer relations managers include identification of older equipment, procurement of updated cost information, identification and location of appropriate system installation drawings, and development of full scope list for aftermarket sales quotations.
• Identify item numbers for older equipment, or set up new item numbers in our Oracle ERP system.
• Interact directly with company vendors and A-S-H customers.
• Provide design and drafting support as needed. Models and drawings will be developed using available software programs including AutoCAD (2D) and/or Autodesk Inventor (3D) modeling program. Design work will be done to support product changes or improvements related to aftermarket needs or contract specific requirements.
• Travel when required (10% maximum) to customer sites to review installed equipment or to determine available clearances to install new equipment.

The Product Support Specialist position at B&W's Allen-Sherman-Hoff division requires a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in related field, along with minimum 3 years related work experience.

• Experience and proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor (or similar 3-D modeling programs) is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment in support of engineers.
• Technical Aptitude to read and understand engineering drawings, and create new engineering drawings representing individual products or systems.
