What You'll Do

The Treasury Management Sales Officer (TMO) will be a part-time role, 3 days a week (24 hours). The TMO will focus on cultivating new relationships by prospecting and proposing alongside Business and Retail Bankers in the Rockford, IL area. The TMO will cross-sell treasury products and bring new ideas to existing clients, while maintaining the exceptional service model of Wintrust.

The TMO applying for this position must be able to communicate expectations and timelines effectively when onboarding new clients or new products. They must have a deep understanding of Treasury Management and be well versed in products that support businesses with automation, account reconciliation, and efficiencies gained by implementing banking technology. This position requires a high degree of flexibility and organizational skills.

This Treasury Management Sales Officer should have an outgoing personality with a desire for salesmanship emphasizing the value of our products to the client’s operation and business needs.

Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience

• Bachelor degree or equivalent


• 5-7 years' Experience in commercial banking, specifically treasury management


• Previous sales experience a must


• Ability to work independently, while establishing strong working relationships with bank partners


• Adapt to technology changes and knowledge of information systems


• Strong organization skills with high attention to detail


• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required


• Ability to handle sensitive customer information and issues with tact and discretion
