Take your supply chain career to new heights by placing and managing purchase orders to support our operations. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of PPG Procurement strategies and policies. The main partners include the SBU local organizations locations, Operations Directors and Supply Chain Directors who are the partners to deliver the expected goals for the Aerospace SBU

• Handle issues with intercompany suppliers such as urgent supply needs or expedite requests.Communicate with SBU management and Supply Chain on supply issues

• Challenge the SBU to develop supply processes such as coordinating order consolidation and evaluating MOQ

• Ensure standard methodologies are in place with local Operations and Supply Chain

• Monitor the interaction between forecast and procurement triggers and communicate anomalies to the Supply Chain team as warranted

• Manage and reports on late purchase orders

• Work with corporate logistics to ensure the use of preferred shippers for inbound shipments

• Addresses issues with inbound shipments to ensure resolution

Qualifications

• Minimum education High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree or Associate degree preferred

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics preferred

• Must be able to read, write and speak in English

• Knowledge of QAD and forecasting methodology preferred

• Knowledge of IT tools such as Aero TSS, MS Office (Excel, Access), ePro, SharePoint and Intranet preferred

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
