About the Team



Project Archer team is transforming the face of retail by leveraging Immersive Augmented Reality. Our goal is to enhance each trip to the physical stores into a convenient, delightful and fun experience through immersive UX. We're looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, collaborative, and passionate to lead our Product team in this world-leading effort.



What you'll do:



Archer's augmented reality merges multiple diverse data flows into a cohesive and immersive experience. Our lead user experience manager guides our efforts to make all that data accessible through immersive, intuitive, and engaging user experiences.


  • Lead the UX team in creation of experiences that make complex interactions flow from choice to choice, with a strong sense of the user's priorities during each moment of the experience.


  • Collaborate with Designers, Artists, Engineers, and Product Managers to iterate on visuals based on consumer feedback, consumer testing and UX best practices.


  • Establish a strong graphic design language for a project's user experience, across static and motion design.


  • Manage the full lifecycle artistic development process ensuring high quality standards and soliciting feedback throughout.


  • Provide leadership for the creation of our UX / UI development tools and pipeline.





What you'll need:



  • 7+ years of experience designing user experiences for interactive applications (games, motion design, etc.)


  • Experience across different platforms (i.e. iOS, Android, Unity/Unreal and web)


  • Experience in designing UX for VR and AR applications.


  • Extensive experience in wireframing complex user flows.


  • Advanced software skills (Photoshop or Illustrator, etc.) to create quick, communicative mockups and wireframes, as well as polished, final, shipping UI assets.


  • High quality graphic design portfolio (color, shape, typography, iconography, etc.)


  • A passion for all the polish and special-case details that can take a user experience from good to great.


  • An iterative mindset. Prototype early, iterate often, finalize, and polish later.


  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.





Bonus points:



  • Experience with in-engine (Unity or similar) UI implementation.


  • A deep understanding of UX design concepts as applied to games.


  • Experience using DoTween or equivalent for animation and transitions.


  • Experience with scripting in Unity.

The annual salary range for this position is $168,000.00-$252,000.00


Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.


Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:


- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)


- Stock equity incentives




Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 7 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
2 years' supervisory experience.
