In this exciting role as a Senior Systems Engineer you will have responsibility for support of market released products designed by the Cardiac Implantables Technology Development Center, including legacy product performance input and enhancement recommendations to new product development teams.
A Day in the Life
• Provide Tier 2 Technical Service call support, troubleshooting, and field/user education
• Provide legacy system performance feedback including enhancement recommendations to new product development teams
• Perform peer review and provide input at design reviews through the duration of a new product development cycle
• Participate in system performance trend analysis, returned product analysis, and assists with regulatory submission and bid/tender support
• Participate in RPI (returned product investigations) and CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action)
• Develop, validate, and actively use software tools to quickly & efficiently trouble shoot technical service calls and provide data mining services to address physician and senior management system related inquiries
Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years of experience OR Advanced Degree and 2+ years of experience
Nice to Have:
• Experience with combined hardware, software system architecture
• Clinical experience with cardiac rhythm management products
• Experience with Medtronic CRM/CDS products
• Basic understanding of Medical Device Industry Regulations
• Excellent understanding of system architecture for products involving hardware, software, communication and mechanical components
• Familiarity with CAPA, DMAIC, DRM or other quality processes
• Self-motivated; ability to work independently with high-level direction
• Excellent verbal and writing skills
• Demonstrated ability to coach and work effectively with others on cross-functional teams
• Good time management and organizational skills
