Job Responsibilities:
Apply excellent work ethics, verbal and written communication skills and be detailed and accurate in performing all administrative and routine functions
Work in an environment that is fast paced, completing multiple tasks, meeting stringent timelines.
Must be able to write correspondence
Attend required training associated with job responsibilities
Maintain a clean workspace and meet any specified information protection standards at the designated work center(s).
Perform data entry on computers and applicable STAMIS computer systems utilizing versions of Microsoft, Adobe, and other DoD-licensed or provided programs
Travel to various CONUS and/or OCONUS locations by Government or commercial conveyance
Be physically fit, able to survive in an austere and inhospitable environment and be willing and able to work long hours over extended periods
Inspect supporting documentation and equipment for turn-in
Conduct pack, wrap, and ship of inventory via STO/SO
Sustain stocks onsite in inventory until follow-on movement
Conduct equipment inspections and documentation inspections
Transition to theater retrograde or distribution sites after pack, wrap, and ship of inventory as applicable
Experience with Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A) is preferred
Conduct physical inventories and adjust and/or maintain inventory, stock, plant, or property account records
Receive and screen lists or other documents specifying supplies or materials needed for planned programs or work operations, and collate and assemble lists of equipment and parts needed for acquisition plans
Initiate, prepare, edit, and process requisitions to stock, commodity control, or other appropriate supply organizations
Prepares and/or assist in preparing DD Form 1348, DA form 3161, DA form 2062, DA Form 2404, DD Form 200, Shipping paperwork (DHL/FEDEX, USPS, DD 1149, US Customs Declaration etc..,) among others, IAW instructions received from supervisory personnel
Search catalogs, records, or other data sources to obtain or correct stock numbers or to perform historical research for “Found On Installation” equipment
Be familiar with AESIP, Microsoft Office programs, etc.
Contact customers, supply organizations, transportation units, and others to obtain material status information, follow up on urgently required items, and/or expedite delivery of material to work sites
Maintain an accurate accounting and reporting system for non-expendable property and perform standardized property management control processes
Reconcile authorization documents with property records and identify, initiate and track all types of administrative changes required
Assist the command with the monthly sensitive items and cyclic inventories and prepare the necessary documentation as required for any discrepancies that may be identified during the inventory
Prepare manual hand receipt, lateral transfer or turn-in documents and forward to the appropriate level in the command
Operate computer terminals or personal computers to perform records search, data input, and data corrections
Operate Government provided vehicles and MHE to receive, process, and deliver materiel to customers
Assist in training subordinate personnel in operations, manual lateral, turn-in, hand receipt procedures, and SSA CL II, IV and VII procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance
Must possess a valid state driver’s license
Must be able to obtain licensing to operate MHE
Must be able to operate in sweltering climates
Must have a thorough and complete understanding of manual unit supply procedures
Must have at least 5yrs military experience in Unit Supply Procedures (92Y / 92A MOS preferred)
Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs
Must be able to stand, sit, bend, reach and walk for extended periods of time
