As the Driver, you will:

... provide transportation to the residents for appointments and errands, such as medical appointments, banking, shopping, worship services, entertainment, and other miscellaneous activities.

What you’ll do here:

• Coordinate with the community, staff, residents, and family members on resident transportation needs


• Proactively communicate any scheduling conflicts or changes


• Always ensure the safety of all passengers and practice safe driving techniques


• Complete event and community errands as needed


• Maintain the vehicle log and advise management of needed repairs and maintenance of company vehicle


• Complete pre-checks before each trip and clean vehicle after each use


• Assist residents with onboarding and offboarding as needed


• Secure passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip


• Maintain compliance with all company policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations


• Additional duties as assigned

We’d love to talk if:

• You possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable motor vehicle record


• You are able to utilize a map, GPS, and telephone book


• You have basic written and oral English communication skills


• You care about serving seniors

Bonus points if:

• You have experience transporting individuals in an assisted living or long-term care setting


• You have experience interacting with individuals diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease

Pay Range: $14-$16.50 / hour, based on experience

You are required to complete any necessary health requirements which may change from time-to-time, such as vaccination.
