POSITION SUMMARY:


At Grain Processing Corporation (GPC), we are investing in the future and looking for individuals to join our mission of helping a growing world do more! The Production Data Administrator position is a position that is responsible for the execution and monitoring of transactions within our ERP software (Dynamics AX). The Production Data Administrator will partner with our production team at the GPC plant in Washington, Indiana to ensure accuracy of data for decision making. This opportunity is for an individual that thrives on details, improving processes, and mastering Excel spreadsheets!


PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Prepares, processes and maintains records related to daily production, shipments and customer confirms

  • Process product transfers in respective areas

  • Process incoming supplies for traceability

  • Verify quality results in lab software to properly disposition material

  • Stay abreast of problems related to loading and shipping of products

  • Generate reports to assist department managers with decision making

  • Work as a liaison with Sales, Transportation, Quality and Production to ensure transactions are processed smoothly

  • Train new operators on how to properly execute transactions for their given job and conduct retraining as needed

  • Share on-call availability for evening and weekend resolution of ERP transactions and operator questions


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite products (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel)

  • Skilled in Excel with experience generating and using pivot tables

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to build trust and interact with all levels of the organization

  • Creative, reliable, organized, adaptable, flexible and innovative

  • Strong sense of self-motivation and ability to work independently

  • Two years of applicable work experience with production administration or similar ERP software experience


EDUCATION: 



  • Associate's Degree in a Business related field of study (preferred)
