The Hilton Oakland Airport is looking for an On-Call Cook to join their team and assist in the event a cook is required to assist - this is a Restaurant-kitchen focused position.

Off Doolittle Drive, this pet-friendly hotel is two minutes from Oakland International Airport via our complimentary shuttle. We're under 10 minutes from RingCentral Coliseum and Oakland Zoo, and just 12 minutes' drive from the famous Jack London Square. We offer a 24-hour fitness center, heated outdoor pool, breakfast restaurant, and sports bar.

The hotel features 360 guest rooms and 15,494 SQ FT Of Meeting space (that breaks down in to 16 meeting rooms)

What will I be doing?

As an On-Call Cook, you would be responsible for preparing cold food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Prepare cold food items including, but not limited to, salads, fruits, dressings, fish items and appetizers, according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
• Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and food products
• Stock and maintain designated food stations(s)
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations

This is a union position, and the hourly rate for the position is $23.64.
