Overview:


AMOT Controls is a leading manufacturer of custom engineered valves and controls for engines, turbines and compressors.   This includes thermostatic control valves, air intake shutoff valves for diesel engines, gas fuel control products, etc.  A significant portion of AMOT’s products are provided to major engine, turbine and compressor OEM’s, packagers and dealers. 


 


Summary:


AMOT is seeking a professional Business Analyst intern.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, cleansing, and transforming data from various sources, and preparing analysis using Excel.


 


Essential Tasks and Duties:



  • Assist sales team in analyzing sales and margin trends for the global product portfolio across all geographies.

  • Analyze pricing and discount rules for the entire product portfolio across multiple sales channels and effectively communicate findings to the management.


 


Additional Responsibilities:



  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures and organize work areas for efficiency and safety.

  • Provides status reports to management as required.

  • Responds to change productively and handles other duties as required.


 


Knowledge and Skills:



  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Data analysis


 


Education Minimum Requirements:



  • Graduated high school/ GED equivalent and currently enrolled in an accredited university.
