POSITION SUMMARY

Join a dynamic product solutions team that is responsible for developing and managing new product strategy and strategic relationships for Evernorth's Care Solutions team. We are seeking an initiative-taking and experienced product leader to bring new solutions and enhanced capabilities to market to drive continued growth. Healthcare is a rapidly evolving, complex, and competitive marketplace with digital innovation changing the landscape. Develop innovative product concepts for differentiated customer experience and improved health outcomes. Lead product roadmap that enables dynamic client, customer, and buyer group preferences. Work with other Evernorth product leaders to understand how these care delivery solutions can complement and achieve our growth goals. This position will work cross-functionally to define and design the coordinated service digital customer journey and how that journey can effectively intersect with our products and services.

The candidate for this position will ensure that Evernorth Care Solutions offerings are competitive, taking actions to identify differentiation opportunities and recommend a product roadmap that will drive profitable growth. Success will be achieved through strong, proactive partnerships with areas such as Evernorth go-to-market/sales teams, Cigna product teams, strategic vendor relationships, data and analytics, marketing, communications, pricing, finance, legal and compliance. Lead and/or support innovation (test-and-learn) initiatives, as well as align with agile-based teams as appropriate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW


  • Articulate market and customer needs related to the dimensions of wellbeing, customer engagement touchpoints, best in-class digital experiences and value-added human support.

  • Act as the wellbeing subject matter expert internally and support account management externally for clients, brokers and consultants.

  • Develop go-to-market rules of the road with strategic partners and operationalize for scale.

  • Work cross-functionally to proactively identify value proposition, communications, training, and reporting required for our wellbeing solutions.

  • Understand key macro trends related to the healthcare industry, environmental forces and company strengths and weaknesses, and assess their impact on our care solutions strategy.

  • Translate market and product feedback into features and requirements, specifications, and develop business case to ensure that the highest priority features are delivered to meet requirements.

  • Nurture strategic partnerships that advance our Evernorth wellbeing strategy and develop shared roadmaps with those strategic partnerships to continuously evolve care solutions offerings.

  • Provide key messaging for marketing communication plans, as well as market-facing deliverables associated with the solutions, both those offered directly to the market and those bundled with other Evernorth product offerings. Ensure messages that are fresh, differentiating, and relevant for the audience.

  • Develop sales resources such as proposal content, online knowledge management repositories, presentations, and collaterals to meet the need of the Sales users.

  • Participate in Evernorth client meetings, as well as market forums, as required.

  • Drive resolution of client and customer product issues, escalating when appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • 5+ years Product and/or Account Management experience required; wellbeing, digital exposure, and client/customer-facing sales process exposure a plus.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA preferred.

  • Successful track record of managing various stages of the product development lifecycle with ability to influence in a highly matrixed organization.

  • Experience in customer journey mapping and use case/Agile user story development. Strong influencing and presentation skills. Can convey complex information in an understandable way to various audiences.

  • Ability to translate strategies into actions, requirements through to implementation.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams within a heavily matrixed culture and drive results with strong sense of urgency, and in an environment of ambiguity.

  • Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to prioritize job requirements.

  • Demonstrated strategy development and execution to meet growth goals.

  • Excellent organizational agility skills with a strong understanding of business processes and operations to facilitate execution of initiatives.

  • Up to 30% travel may be required.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 103,700 - 172,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
