We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional as the Director – West Area, covering the Western half of the U.S.
The Director will be responsible for leading a team of 6 direct reports, including 3 Regional Managers and 2 A&D Managers, as well as achieving budgeted revenue goals. The Director will be responsible for driving sales through a variety of channels including direct accounts, distributors, retailers, architects and designers. Reporting to the VP of Sales, NA, this position will assist in developing sales strategies leading to above market growth rates.
Responsibilities include:
Preferred candidates must be able to accomplish their goals and strategies through others, which will require strong leadership, planning, organizing and communication skills. Experience in dealing with distributor networks and direct accounts required. Must be proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Candidate will possess a college degree in business or related field, MBA preferred.
