As Manager, Partnership Development, you will support the team in growing customer acquisition and retention, generate engagement through multi-channel marketing campaigns, and cultivate recognition of loyalty benefits. On the Partnership Development team reporting to Head of Partnership Development, you will be responsible for establishing, developing and implementing plans to advance the pipeline of Hilton's new partner prospects. Prospective partners may come from a number of categories including travel (airline, rideshare, car rental, entertainment companies, destination service providers, etc.), sports teams and/or leagues, live events/concerts, fitness/wellness and other categories that align to Hilton's marketing strategy and Key Strategic Priorities.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:


  • Drive problem resolution with internal resources and prospective partners to make sure proposals are consistent with Hilton's objectives, and ensure potential risks are mitigated and obstacles are addressed.
  • Develop ideas that can catalyze partner channels for customer acquisition, engagement, growth and financial goal attainment.
  • Identify and initiate relationships with key partners and prepare commercial engagement plans for each partner.
  • Build first draft documents for new partner cases.
  • Lead potential partner due diligence to determine value and readiness.
  • Key contact for internal teams and external partners to ensure integration requirements are understood and efforts are implemented in a timely manner.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate with key internal contacts to define account plans for each partner engagement.
  • Partner closely with regional loyalty, brand, customer experience, development, product and technology teams to be a subject matter authority on partnerships.
  • Participate in the annual enterprise planning process to establish prospect targeting and budgets in support of relevant activity.
  • Manage the execution of plans, ensuring goals and objectives for each are met on time and within the allocated budget.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Lead intake process of new partner referrals/inquiries.
  • Establish and maintain plans for a select pool of prospective partners as it relates to the objectives of the Loyalty & Partnerships team and wider Hilton business goals.
  • Ensure outstanding partner selection and integration by crafting processes to be efficient and consistent across the organization. Building a culture of accountability to deliver high-quality work, and passionately advocate for ways to increase value from the portfolio of partner and vendor relationships.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:


  • Five (5) years of work experience
  • Experience in marketing/branding
  • Experience with contract negotiations
  • Experience translating data into strategy and/or insights
  • Experience with product team organizations and processes
  • Proven presentation and verbal & written communication skills
  • Travel - up to 15%

It would be useful if you have:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree and/or MS/MA Master's Degree
  • Management consulting experience
  • Partnerships and/or loyalty experience
