The Supply Chain Project Manager plays a pivotal role as a central resource in driving supply chain initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, and collaborating with teams across the supply chain organization to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Allocate resources, establish project teams, and manage project budgets.
Facilitate communication and alignment among project stakeholders.
Promote teamwork and cooperation to achieve project goals.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Monitor project risks and take proactive measures to keep projects on track.
Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership on project status, milestones, and outcomes.
Ensure clear communication and alignment of expectations among all project participants.
Solicit feedback and input from stakeholders to drive project improvement.
Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with compliance teams to address any regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to project management and supply chain processes.
Share best practices and lessons learned with the organization.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or project management.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations, processes, and project management methodologies.
Excellent project management skills with proficiency in project management tools.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
