Job Description:

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development in the [Remote to support our fast-growing Data division.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:




  • Providing leadership to align, motivate, enable, support, and build a positive work environment for the team.


  • Providing leadership to ensure project execution with expected levels of quality and customer satisfaction.


  • Developing and leading the strategic operation of MCA’s PLTE/IoT portfolio.


  • Creating a pipeline of opportunities from direct efforts with end customers.








  • Leveraging existing relationships with IT and operations leaders in targeted enterprise accounts.


  • Partnering with MCA’s Data Division sales organizations identifying targets, and executing a strategy to maximize sales growth for PLTE/IoT markets.


  • Driving all requests for PLTE/IoT (RFPs), system proposals, and whitepapers, ensuring alignment with sales strategies.


  • Evaluating and developing PLTE/IoT solutions that provide alternatives to MCA’s current portfolio.


  • Collaborating with division presidents, sales leadership, and operations to identify strategies for developing enterprise-level accounts.








  • Managing and growing key customer relationships and participating in closing strategic opportunities.


  • Strategizing an annual sales plan for PLTE/IoT quarterly updates, revisions, and modifications based on market conditions and sales performance.


  • Managing strategic accounts, leading in deal planning, and driving account penetration for enterprise level support solutions in the account, competitively driving MCA’s presence and influencing sales.


  • Networking with executives within enterprise accounts and within MCA to foster and facilitate business growth opportunities.


  • Sharing industry knowledge with internal stakeholders to facilitate sales strategy.








  • Recommending business development tactics, potential pricing strategies, account targets, and competitive market information to the leadership team.






WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:




  • 10+ years of experience leading sales or business development in business-to-business sales and operations with PLTE and IoT or wireless communications organizations.


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field or related experience.


  • Working knowledge of PLTE, IoT, 5G, Cellular DAS, WiFi, and CBRS








  • Understanding of the PLTE/IoT market along with the competitive solutions to differentiate the MCA portfolios.


  • Demonstrated track record of success in global enterprise solutions for major accounts.


  • Extensive experience selling into C-Level functions and negotiating enterprise-level contracts.


  • Skilled in new business and expansion and demonstrated focus on a data-driven sales model.


  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive-level customers and partners.








  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.


  • Experienced in identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
