General Job Requirements
Serve both roles as a reviewer and preparer of income tax returns (corporation, partnership, and individual returns)
In charge audit, review and compilation engagements and supervise staff on those engagements
Interact with clients in a positive manner to ensure that the information flow from the client to our team is efficient and accurate
Anticipate and address client concerns by providing proactive service
Identify and communicate accounting, auditing and income tax planning opportunities to managers and partners in the firm
Be organized, efficient and have a positive attitude
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license or be a current CPA exam candidate
Iowa tax law knowledge and experience
Have effective communication skills
At least 2 to 3 years' experience preparing and/or reviewing income tax returns
Experience in assisting and/or in-charging audits, reviews and compilation engagements
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or be a current CPA exam candidate
Software applications - UltraTax, GoFileRoom, AdvanceFlow and Microsoft Office
Salary to commensurate with experience.
