You will oversee a team of 10 to 12 Admissions Coordinators and Call Screeners who engage with incoming and potential clients, answering all their questions throughout the admissions process. In addition to managing the team, you will take calls alongside the team. This will include serving as a liaison between the client and the facility they will be admitted to, ensuring the client is well-versed in the rules of the program and treatment expectations. Pivotal to your success will be a focus on metrics and the ability to motivate your team to strong performance.
To be a good fit for the Director of Admissions opportunity, you will have:
A bachelor's degree preferred.
5 to 8+ years of experience in an admissions function, preferably in healthcare and ideally in mental health.
Proven people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and hold people accountable to metrics.
Experience with sales, including conversion tactics, matching clients with solutions, explaining benefits, overcoming objections, etc.
Excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence and the ability to manage diverse teams.
