Job Description:

This position may be eligible for Hybrid Work, working remotely for up to two days per week after the initial 90 days of employment.

Salary Range: $65,866/year or higher, commensurate with experience and/or education

JOB SUMMARY 

The Assistant Director, Bilingual E-Library Project assists with all aspects of the bilingual e-library operation, including planning and managing resources, budget review and allocation, managing support staff, overseeing program projects, researching, identifying, and implementing. 

DUTIES 


  • Assists the director in overseeing and managing program operations, reviewing progress, and directing resources as necessary

  • Manages and supports program technologies and projects and works with students, faculty, and staff on E-library projects

  • Supervises, assigns work, hires, schedules, trains, develops, evaluates, and directs personnel 

  • Conducts service assessment and user surveys, provides reports to director, plans and implements continuous improvement processes 

  • Works with the leaders/managers of each of the activities teams to plan, follow up, and monitor the development of each of the activities 

  • Conducts visits to the field and networks with partner schools 

  • Designs interactive games and videos that are in alignment with the e-books and support the development of reading and writing skills 

  • Monitors and improves the E-library Youtube channel to make sure that the channel is on target with the goal of the project

WORK LOCATION AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

Primary Work Location: 


  • Works in an office environment 

Physical Demands: 


  • Work is performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements

  • The individual has discretion in relation to walking, standing, etc., and has minimal exposure to physical risks 

  • Must have precise hand-eye coordination and the ability to identify and distinguish colors
