What you will do
Use our people's talents to produce at the pace of customer demand using optimal resources achieving lowest cost with Six Sigma quality across the entire Value Stream.
How you will do it
Lead cross-functional teams to drive breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance in People, Quality, Material Flow, and Cost. (JCMS) Value Stream Analysis (Current and Future State Value Stream Mapping).
Applies DMAIC methodology and Lean tools to lead improvement project at all type of processes.
Support other C.I. initiatives, including best practice implementation, while striving to improve Business Metrics Coach team members in understanding Lean and/or Six Sigma principles.
Using standard tracking and reporting systems, will prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and achievement of product / process quality and savings goals.
Collaborate with leadership to develop a plant C.I. Roadmap, bridging business metrics gaps with either: 1. Just Do It improvements, or 2. Lean Implementation projects.
Identifies barriers to project success and requests help from champions when needed.
Assist the Continuous Improvement Manager in any strategic initiative that will help in compliance to standards, implementing new systems, and designing creative solutions that will continuously improve the plant.
Accountable to impact on Operational Cost. Provides basic Lean training to project team members.
Reports on project progress to Champion and other appropriate leadership levels at least on a monthly basis.
Identifies and brings forward new project opportunities to Champions.
What we look for
Professional degree, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.
Proven understanding of lean principles and project management.
Certification as a Lean Implementer in JCMS; preferred certification as Green Belt.
Possesses basic statistical knowledge and the ability to apply statistics to product and process improvement projects.
Preferred experience in SPC and General Manufacturing Process.
Proficient in the use and application of programs such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
English language proficiency.
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written, and presentation skills. Highly effective leadership and program management skills, able to lead both vertically and horizontally.
