Main Objective: The Exhibit Operations Specialist is responsible for managing exhibit functions relating to product displays and models, product selection, maintenance and distribution (both onsite and offsite). Assist with pre-planning, onsite and post exhibit and event tasks and s erve as a liaison to internal and external clients, including employees, customers, agencies and sales associates and hotel visitors. Knowledge of corporate goals and objectives to ensure the successful outcome of exhibits required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  1. Responsible for set-up/tear down of all exhibit and workshop functions (both onsite and offsite).

  2. Manages the staging of upcoming exhibits, events and workshops to ensure events are packed, shipped and delivered according to need. This includes all offsite exhibits as well as product deliveries from ALC to Naples campus.

  3. Develops and maintains exhibit checklists and reference materials. Works together with Project Manager, Exhibit Operations to develop new displays with input from Product Managers.

  4. Ensures all exhibit products and displays are tested for proper function and current rev level, repairs, replacements, and disposition of obsolete products. Maintains inventory of products and associated exhibit models and displays.

  5. Responsible for set-up and clean-up/disinfecting of all campus and offsite products and displays for both workshops and exhibits after attendance. Observes all blood-borne pathogen and related safety procedures.

  6. Responsible for supporting those in the coordination, and execution of exhibits consisting of, but not limited to: international and regional exhibits (in country), workshop events including didactic, sawbones or cadaver, etc. for the organization.

  7. Works closely with Global Trade, Marketing, Medical Education, Exhibit House vendor and other key partners to execute exhibits successfully.

  8. Works with exhibit planners daily to develop and prepare booth drawings to help optimize product and display layout and quantities. Ensure accurate and prompt delivery of display equipment.

  9. Supports team members on-site as back-up during holidays, PTO and periods of increased volume of exhibit, event and workshop requests.

  10. Communicates policies, procedures, and processes related to transparency and disclose effectively and with excellent customer service.

Knowledge:

General knowledge of industry practices, customer service, and standards. General knowledge of Exhibits and Workshop processes and best practices.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to communicate effectively, is solution oriented and helps to resolve conflicts from occurring. Assists Management team in developing policies and procedures that ensure solutions are consistent with department objectives.

Discretion/Latitude:

Required to lead or work as part of a team or work independently with minimal supervision. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives. Supports management with high level projects. Work is reviewed for detail accuracy, consistency, customer service, and meeting objectives. Refers to all policies and procedures for detailed instructions.

Education/Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Communications or Business Management or related field preferred; preferably in a medical device environment.

  • 3 year's Arthrex specific product knowledge required
