Job Title: Sr. UX Designer - Emerging Brands

Reports to: Director, NA DTC - Emerging Brands

Location: Phoenix, Arizona - Remote

The Role

We are excited to invite a highly skilled and creative Senior Designer to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone proficient in web design with a deep understanding of human-centric design principles. The ideal candidate will create visually appealing and user-friendly designs that captivate customers.

In this role, you will work on internal web projects for our ecommerce team, designing Home Pages, Landing Pages, and Product Detail Pages. You will also create marketing and promotional materials that effectively convey our brand's message.

To excel, the candidate must have a solid background in web development and a comprehensive understanding of marketing principles. Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, preferably using the Bootstrap framework, is essential. Proficiency in Core Media CMS and Sales Force Demandware platforms is highly desirable for managing our product catalogue.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to:

• 1. UX/UI Design for the Deckers eCommerce team


• 2. Design Implementation using HTML/CSS/Java Script


• 3. Merchandise management with CoreMedia and Salesfore Demandware

Who You Are

• You are a designer with 10+ years of experience in a digital field with background in software development who is self-managed and can work remotely efficiently. You can see possible development issues and address them before they come up. When designing you always follow best practices and ensure easy implementation by the development team. You are able to notice usability and accessibility issues and recommend improvements. Being a highly skilled designer, you also have ability to implement your designs using HTML/CSS/Java Script.

• Designers with ecommerce experience and worked with Coremedia, Demandware, Shopify platforms.


• Designers who worked in a shoe related field.

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
