ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK - TEMP TO HIRE



Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data entry, scanning, and filing of accounts payable documents, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in their financial operations.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



• Accurately enter invoice and payment information into the accounting system.


• Review and verify invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.


• Scan and file invoices, receipts, and other accounts payable documents in an organized manner.


• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, including checks.


• Assist in reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.


• Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation.


• Generate and assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable.


• Provide support to the finance team with various administrative and clerical tasks as needed.



QUALIFICATIONS:



• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.


• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable or similar role.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.


• Experience with accounting software is a plus.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Strong organizational and time management skills.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
