POSITION SUMMARY

• Collect and assemble records/data into the prescribed format.


• Analyze data to ensure records meet regulatory and hospital standards.


• Implement practitioner completion process.


• Uphold levels of security and confidentiality to execute appropriate release of information.


• Must code and classify date sets for IOP utilizing ICD and DSM in compliance with the Company's deadlines with an error rate not to exceed 5% (measured through periodic audits).

Education: High School Diploma. Associates Degree preferred.

Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of inpatient record experience in an acute care hospital setting. Acute inpatient psychiatric setting preferred. Proficient in office and computer skills including but not limited to the use of copiers, computers, and associated applications such as E-fax, Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Certifications/Licenses: CCS, CCA, CPC, RHIT, RHIA preferred or test eligible preferred.
