Position Summary:
The position will be tasked to coordinate day-to-day research-related activities and manage departmental shared resources, to ensure the success of all research initiatives and projects.
Assists with the day-to-day administrative project management and may provide scientific direction for research projects of considerable scope and complexity.
Coordinate basic and translational research activities within the department. Manage and maintain research facilities and shared resources. Provide Neurosurgery research faculty with day-to-day administrative support.

Certification/Skills:
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience in lieu of education.

Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
This position may include work involving potentially hazardous chemical, biological or radioactive agents.

Residency Requirement:
Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
