This company is a large real estate company that continues to grow and expand their portfolio. This company is looking to hire a Senior Accountant.


Your new role


Reporting into the Accounting Manager you will be responsible for
month end and year end close timetable to ensure all entries are entered and journal entry posting is in-line with approval process, General ledger account analysis and maintenance, Assist in preparing monthly corporate financial reports as well as input schedules and stat pack preparation, Assist in performing monthly variance analysis, Responsible for preparation of key balance sheet accounts, and assist in any ad hoc projects.


What you'll need to succeed


You will have a degree in accounting, two years minimum experience in related role, thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles/general ledger systems and procedures/ and internal controls Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PeopleSoft, and a strong work ethic. CPA or in progress is a must and real estate industry is a plus!
