Your Role:
EMD Electronics is hiring a Materials Planner who will place transactions in SAP (process orders, purchase orders, stock-transfer orders) to drive supply of materials in scope according to demand from internal and external customers.
Responsibilities also include:
Supervise downstream distribution of materials to the end-customer, ensuring customer satisfaction and inventory requirements are met.
Beyond SAP transactions, provide long-term production and purchasing plans to enable other functions, and set monthly targets for production.
Meet business KPIs related to financials and supply reliability.
Participate in regular meetings and collaborate with other functions (sales, marketing, operations, transportation, customer service).
Contribute to monthly Sales & Operations Planning reporting and present complex supply chain constraints succinctly to a broad audience to create transparency.
This position may include travel both domestically and internationally
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in any field
2+ years of experience in supply chain management
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management
Process improvement background
Strong interpersonal skills and thoughtful leadership to build the needed relationships and rapport with business and IT colleagues
Ability to review and challenge business requirements and recommend solutions
