This is a part-time, 0.5 FTE position. Scheduled 6-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday starting at 8:00 A.M. One 4-5 hour Saturday shift per month. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Gift Shop Assistant to:

• Provide quality customer service and ensure a positive retail experience for patients, families, staff, and visitors at the University Hospital and the American Family Children's Hospital gift shops.
• Provide support to the service and fundraising goals of the shop.
• Assist the Supervisor in purchasing related tasks and decisions for the University Hospital and American Family Children's Hospital gift shops

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Technical degree or post high school education Preferred

Work Experience

• 1 year of retail experience Required
• Experience in ordering, receiving, pricing and inventory of products Preferred
