Responsible for handling all aspects, including tracking and maintaining DOT compliance, of fleet licensures, registration, titles, and inspections. Provide oversight of the fuel tax program (IFTA) for the network. Ethically maximize recovery of tolls incorrectly applied to the Kroger fleet. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently, and accurately. Desired
- Associate Degree business or related work experience- Oversee all functions regarding Tax, Title and License requirements and Registration and Plate renewals for the nationwide fleet
- Monitor and maintain central database to track fleet licensures, registrations, inspections, toll charges, and fuel tax data
- Develop and maintain secure storage for Vehicle Titles and audit regularly for completeness
- Coordinate with Corporate Supply Chain Safety team to determine best process for ensuring that all annual insurance packets are complete and in the company's fleet of tractors
- Develop and maintain controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
- Manage Fuel Tax program (IFTA) to include filing for on-highway fuel tax credits for fuel used off road (Reefers & Yard Tractors)
- Track and analyze all toll charges, work with Tolling services to ensure toll charges against our plates/fleet are accurate, pay and distribute charges by site
- Maintain annual Unified Carrier Registration and Biennial USDOT updates for DOT compliance
- Ensure USDOT records are in compliance and update as needed
- Monitor, analyze, and pay all charges associated with HUT (Highway Use Tax)
