The Department of Computer Science at Saint Anselm College, a Roman Catholic undergraduate liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition in Manchester, NH invites applications for a one to three year faculty position to begin in August 2025. The successful candidate will teach a combination of undergraduate computer science courses including, but not limited to introductory and core computing courses, as well as courses relating to information assurance and cyber security. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester.
Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching ability, a statement on how they would work to contribute to the college's initiatives to foster and sustain an inclusive and diverse campus environment, and academic transcripts to the attention of Dr. Rajesh Prasad, Committee Chair, via the college website. Evidence of research potential (samples of scholarship, articles or conference papers) is also welcome. Finalists will be asked to submit three letters of recommendation. Review of applications will begin October 31. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field is required; ABD candidates may be considered if their degree is near completion. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level.
Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Candidates with experience in or a desire to teach and mentor students from diverse backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
