SEL has an exciting opportunity to welcome a new employee-owner to our Product Compliance team in Pullman, WA. As a Compliance Technician, you will work in a state-of-the-art test facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the standards, test equipment, and test execution for a broad range of tests (e.g., ESD, RFI, EFTB; Hot, Cold; Dielectric, Impulse). 2. Execute tests and write test reports for a broad range of tests in an ISO 17025 (A2LA) environment. 3. Lead in ensuring the test equipment for the assigned tests is maintained and calibrated. 4. Train engineers and technicians on product compliance standards, SEL test procedures, and test equipment operation. 5. Provide general technical assistance to R&D product groups.
Required Qualifications
A.S. in electronics or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
4+ years working knowledge of product compliance at an electronics development and manufacturing company
Demonstrated working knowledge of common compliance related test equipment, test chambers and testing practices
Self-motivated/self-starter
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of one or more of the following compliance (regulatory, voluntary, customer) areas including standards, requirements, and solutions: EMC (FCC, IC, IEC, CISPR, CE); safety standards (UL, CSA, IEC, CE), radio
Leadership experience or training

Salary Information
$28.95 - $39.35 per hour. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
