Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our on-premise and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have experience with designing and migrating cloud networks, and a deep understanding of Cisco Viptela SD-WAN, Cisco ISE, and Palo Alto firewalls.
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and cloud environments
Participate in projects involving migration from on-premise to cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Viptela SD-WAN and Cisco ISE
Monitor network infrastructure and performance using tools such as LogicMonitor
Participate in after hours on-call rotation
Collaborate with other IT teams on projects and provide technical support and guidance to IT staff
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering, with RECENT focus on cloud technologies
In-depth knowledge of DNS protocols, including DNSSEC, DNS caching, and DNS-based load balancing.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including networking services (e.g., VPC, Route 53, Azure Networking).
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including encryption, authentication, and access control.
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump, traceroute).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
