  • 2-2-3 shift schedule (on 2, off 2, on 3, off 2, on 2, off 3, repeating) of 6PM to 6:30AM.

You will be able to lead and contribute in meaningful ways at our new greenfield McCalla, AL facility, where we will produce the very popular Uncrustables sandwiches and are also looking forward to development of new and innovative products. The Warehouse Coordinator will provide daily communication with Customer Logistics, Carriers, Guards, Drivers, and all Distribution Center staff. This position is responsible for accurately and timely checking carriers into the facility for both shipping and receiving. Additionally, this role will maintain scheduling of dock doors, check order progress, assist with order release, ensure accuracy of all shipping and receiving documents, be responsible for email correspondence, assist with data entry, and utilizing all other systems necessary to perform job.


In this role you will:

  • Research any short allocation items, provide updates and move inbounds to door for immediate receipt when needed.


  • Minimize detention through first-rate dock management.


  • Maintain accurate notations using proper communication channels.


  • Ensure accuracy of all shipping and receiving paperwork prior to receipt and ship confirmation.


  • Provide troubleshooting for operators to resolve any discrepancies or issues with loads to avoid overweight's, shortages and guarantee customers are properly invoiced.


  • Works closely with Supervisor to assign workflow to material handlers to meet inbound/outbound demand schedule.


  • Upon completion of loads, timely sign carrier/drivers out, dispatch shipments and close receipts to maintain accurate inventory levels.


  • Utilize the following systems: Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (BY WMS), IMI, Spotfire Reporting, Discoverer Reporting, Outlook, Excel, and Word.


  • Follow all company policies including GMPs, food safety and BRC standards.


  • Assist team and facility in performing all necessary actions in compliance with quality hold procedures to ensure accountability of hold product.


  • Prepare and publish daily and/or weekly reports.


  • Prepares Bills of Lading and proper shipping documents to specific customer and company specifications.


  • Assist in scheduling inbound and outbound appointments through WMS, email, and phone.


  • Provide a strong level of customer service to internal and external customers.


  • Work closely with shift management to accomplish shift goals.


  • Coordinate moves within the yard for the spotter.


  • All other tasks as required.

What we're looking for:


  • High School Diploma or GED required.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.


  • Capable of demonstrating and lifting objects of up to 50 pounds required.


  • Team Lead or Group lead experience preferred.


  • 3 to 5 years of Logistics, Supply Chain, or Distribution Center experience preferred.


  • 3 to 5 years of Warehouse Management System experience preferred.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) applications.


  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule that most effectively supports the organization.


  • Willingness to work off-shifts or weekends as needed.


  • Stand-Up Forklift experience desired. May assist with material handling to meet customer demand.


  • Must understand and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPS).


  • Must understand and follow all Job Safety Analysis and Safe Practices.


  • Must Understand and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.


  • Must understand and follow all Food Safety and BRCGS guidelines.
