Join a world-class sustainable chemical company as an Account Coordinator, where you will be the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction throughout the entire customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end customer experience, including order processing, delivery management, post-transactional support, and account closure.
Act as a liaison between customers/suppliers and on-site logistics, freight coordinators, sales, and commercial managers.
Manage interactions for assigned products, including imports and externally sourced items.
Coordinate the customs clearance process with contract custom service providers.
Ensure accurate entry of all purchase, sales, or return orders into SAP.
Monitor supplier and customer shipments, utilizing rail supplier interfaces and on-site tracking tools, while understanding shipping constraints.
Serve as the key point of contact for customer inquiries and issues, dedicated to providing timely resolutions.
Collaborate with logistics, manufacturing, finance, and sales departments to facilitate smooth communication and process flow.
Assist in the month-end reconciliation processes with the finance department.
Lead the setup process for new suppliers and customers, working closely with sales managers and finance teams.
Identify opportunities for process improvement to streamline procedures and standardize operations.
Support the sales team, production planners, logistics, and finance to ensure correct order releases and scheduled deliveries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in customer service, logistics, business, or manufacturing.
Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with the RailTrac Bourque System.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand and analyze data in-depth, identify root causes, and provide actionable recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
Supply Chain Certifications such as APICS (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD) or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
