Under the direction of a registered nurse (RN), the Patient Care Associate (PCA) assists the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions to promote a safe, detailed patient care environment. PCA assists patients with daily living needs, supervising & reading vital signs, drawing blood, and acquiring EKGs. Responds to patient requests in a timely manner, safeguarding patient confidentiality, supervising patient safety, and always communicating in a respectful manner.
Schedule
Day (7am-3pm / 7am-7pm), Evening (3pm-11pm), and Night (7pm-7am, 11pm-7a) Rotational holiday and weekend schedule

Qualifications
Required: Must have recent experience, and/or training, in clinical patient care.
Preferred: Licensed, certified, or enrolled student in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT accredited program, at the time of hire, OR
Candidate enrolled in a Nursing, Pre-Med, PA undergraduate program, with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed, at time of hire.
