The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for aWelcome Liaison to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms ( to include cottages and villas ), 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

What will I be doing?

A Welcome Liaison represents the hotel at the main entrance and various lot locations by greeting arriving and departing guests in an enthusiastic and courteous manner. Directs traffic at entrances to ensure a safe and efficient flow of traffic into or out of the hotel grounds.


  • Greet and direct traffic: Determine Check-in vs. Day Visitors, determine Valet vs. Self parkers. Moderate who is entering the lots based on directions from leadership. Sometimes directs Team Members, visitors, and other contractors and vendors to park off property.
  • Identify VIP guest for VIP check in process
  • Maintains driveway traffic flow to allow main hotel entrance accessibility as well as to ensure an enhanced arrival process.
  • Greets guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Explains parking rate information.

Classification: Seasonal

Shift:Various - must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate:The pay rate for this role is $18.50 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
