The Doe Run Company is seeking a Sales Admin Supervisor to provide customer service and contract management for domestic metal customers to ensure that customers achieve a high level of service and that all contract terms are met by both the customer and the company. Provide oversight for timely execution of terms including necessary inventory availability, prioritizing shipment schedules and lab inspections as specified in the contract without supervision. This position is located at our Corporate Office in St. Louis, MO.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in business customer service or sales
Advanced computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), I-Series, ERP (PeopleSoft/SAP),
Proficient use of commodity pricing tools such as Reuters.
Knowledge of import/export process.
Familiarity with operations environments such as mining, smelting, and manufacturing.
Demonstrated customer service skills to include the ability to handle pressure.
Proficient organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
Proficient communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proficient leadership skills to coach and lead sales admin staff

Responsibilities:
Inputting contracts and sales orders into assigned database in PeopleSoft, AS400 and/or Excel. Review and analysis of contract implementation and accuracy to include making decisions on whether or not to accept an order and independently prioritizing consumer transactions, shipment schedules, etc. Manage contract documentation in compliance with company electronic content management (ECM) policies. Review invoices and validate the documents released to customers.
Initiating Correspondence and responding to inquiries and requests for information with internal and external parties regarding contracted sales. Address a variety of issues with company representatives, customers, and third-party vendors to resolve problems related to transportation schedules, inventory availability, material specifications, and regulatory documentation compliance.
Align the availability of resources to the contractual requirements in order to drive a sale that meets customer demands and pre-established pricing. Manage the resources of the company, products, and alloys to fulfill customer needs or adjust their needs as our requirements. Adjust on a daily basis the sales plan based on production and quality information from BRRD, minimizing losses, minimizing the impact on customers, and maximizing the revenue of the products produced.
Support the Metal Sales Manager in preparation of the annual profit plan, sales reports, alloy production plan, toll balances, and customer performance metrics. Manage the reports related to account management, sales forecasts (daily, monthly annual), toll accounts, toll balances, sales, pricing, toll pricing, invoicing, collections, customer performance metrics, and others.
Authorized to make decisions that impact customer acceptance or retention as providing quotes, selecting new customers and/or making sales that may have significant core implications, with the validation and support of the Metal Sales Director. Add customer service insights and suggestions to the senior management related to customers, markets, and products. Serve as the department’s liaison to the accounting and IT departments for continuous improvement.
Foster a culture to maintain EHS (environmental, health and safety) compliance by allocating resources, establishing expectations, and holding teams accountable for adherence to EHS policies, procedures, and best practices; reviewing reports and ensuring corrective action for unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and participating in the continuous improvement in EHS performance through management systems.
