Responsible for maintaining Transmission Pipeline and Facility integrity and safety as well as complying with federally mandated regulations. This will primarily be accomplished through execution and development of Tallgrass Integrity Management Programs (IMP's) within the Asset Integrity Engineering Team. The position includes working closely with Operations, Engineering and other Stakeholders in developing, implementing and managing various aspects of the IMP.
Position may be filled as Engineer I, II, or III pending candidate experience.Minimum requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering or a related discipline
An acceptable substitute for a degree is five (5) years direct work experience in Risk Engineering, Pipeline Integrity, DOT Compliance or related tasks
Experience/Specific Knowledge:
A working knowledge of PHMSA Pipeline IMP Regulations (Title 49 CFR Parts 192 Subpart O or 195.452)
Familiarity with PHMSA Mega Rule Phase I and II
Familiarity with inline inspection and other integrity assessment methods
Fundamental knowledge of pipeline integrity threats and their associated mechanisms
Experience with pipeline defect assessment and repair methods
Knowledge and experience in operation of pipeline, measurement, pump stations, compressor stations, storage tanks, and all related equipment
Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel)

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:
Significant experience with inline inspection assessments
Significant experience in developing and implementing Integrity Management Plans for oil and gas pipelines
Significant experience with Pipeline Safety Regulations (49 CFR 192 Subpart O, 49 CFR 195.452 and associated federal code), ASME B31.8S and B31.4, API 2611, 653, 650 and 12F, PRCI Repair manual
Experience with pipeline repair
Experience with ArcGIS and other ESRI mapping and analysis software
Strong working knowledge of gas and hazardous liquids operations
Significant experience participating in regulatory audits and responding to audit findings
Knowledge of Pipeline Open Data Standard (PODS) or similar
Demonstrated agility and expertise when leading initiatives
Compensation:
The annual salary for this position will be $80,000 - $125,000/yr.

Execute Tallgrass assessment and repair program
Review ILI and other inspection data and develop action plans, inspection documents, and closure reports
Work closely with Field Engineering to ensure assessments are completed on time and meet compliance needs
Evaluate defects, perform fitness-for -service calculations, and develop remediation plans
Perform data integration for integrity assessments
Develop, improve, and maintain integrity related procedures and SOPs
Assist in developing and maintaining a prioritized schedule of pipeline and facility assessments to ensure and maintain pipeline integrity
Interface with other department stakeholders and SMEs to communicate and receive feedback on integrity analysis results and options
Participate in internal and PHMSA / DOT regulatory audits and implement resulting action items
Respond to field inquiries related to Asset Integrity
Identify opportunities to complete integrity work in tandem with other company work to minimize cost and disruption to service
Take ownership and drive resolution, technical recommendations, procedure creation/modification in addition to support and guidance for any complex asset integrity issues
Troubleshoot and address integrity issues related to execution of the IMP
Ensure IMP Compliance and proper documentation to meet 49 CFR 192 Subpart O, 49 CFR 195.452, and any future rule making
Revise or create procedures and/or documentation necessary to bolster safe operation of the pipeline
Review and improve IMP and MAOP Procedures annually to improve program effectiveness
Work collaboratively with related departments to manage and develop general data collection and data integration procedures and best practices
Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism
Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully
Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance
Will work non-traditional hours as needed
