Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. (CRA) is seeking qualified candidates to join our Arkansas office, where we are currently accepting applications for Staff Archaeologist. Our Arkansas office is located in West Fork, within the Northwest Arkansas metropolitan area, and was established in 2024 to support clients in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas. This is a full-time, salaried position that is eligible for a remote work option.

Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000 annually; based on experience

Experience:
At least 3 years in CRM, or equivalent training
Qualifications:
Graduate degree in AnthropologyQualification under the Secretary of the Interior Standards (48 FR 44716) in archaeologyRPA, or eligible for RPAAbility to work in a variety of field conditions, and to navigate efficiently in remote areasExcellent writing and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and technological proficiency (Word, Excel, GIS, relational databases)Have additional qualifications? Description:
The Staff Archaeologist position is under the direction of a Principal Investigator, and will involve participation in the planning and performance of archaeological field projects. Responsibilities will include conducting pre-field research, mobilizing field projects, providing supervision to field technicians, overseeing archaeological field projects, authoring or co-authoring written reports of findings, and completing site forms. Project types may include archaeological monitoring, survey, evaluation, and data recovery projects, including projects that will require stays away from home. It is imperative that candidates be able to work 8 to 10 hour days in a variety of field conditions. Stooping, bending, and lifting are essential functions of this position.
