This is a full-time, hybrid (2 days in-office) position based out of our Oakland, CA office.

What Youll Do

• Create compelling designs in deep partnership with user researchers, product designers, product managers, and engineers who are passionate about the users experience.
• Use research and data to understand our users deeply, build empathy for their needs, advocate for them, and deliver impactful experiences that connect their goals to business needs.
• Shape product direction by partnering closely with on requirements discussions with stakeholders and create alignment on design solutions.
• Bring a point of view and advocate for great UX, even when its hard by identifying opportunities to improve the user experience and championing your ideas. 
• Iterate quickly, test early, and refine based on feedback and data.
• Approach designs from a systems perspective, developing patterns that get adopted by others.

Skills Were Looking For

• At least 1 year of product design (or UX/UI) experience and a portfolio that shows strong process and design outcomes.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to bring your ideas to life.
• Self-motivated mindset. You should thrive in ambiguity, take initiative, and follow through. You'll be trusted with real ownership and responsibility here!
• Excited by the opportunity to shape design culture at a growing company and contribute your unique voice.
• Able to tell compelling stories through presentations that influence teammates and stakeholders alike.
• Driven to understand user problems and how products are actually used. You lean into research, data, and real-world context.
• Thoughtful and curious with strong instincts for great UX. Youre always striving to create better experiences, even as youre still building your toolkit.
• Eager to learn and grow, open to feedback, and not afraid to ask questions!

Bonus Skills

• Experience working on SaaS or B2B products.
• Experience working on big data, AI, or data analytics products.
• A desire to have fun while building a great product!!

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Our job titles may span more than one career level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, business need, market demands. Oakland Pay Range$116,503.67—$139,810 USD
