Bachelor's degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred)
3-5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in real estate or property management and 5-10+ years overall
Solid understanding of CAM reconciliations, lease accounting, accruals, and general ledger processes
Experience with MRI or similar property management software is a strong plus
Clear and professional communication skills - written and verbal
Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
Strong sense of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
A people person who builds strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and colleagues
Day-to-Day
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support both the finance and property management teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Prepare and review financial statements, CAM reconciliations, tax documents, and audit-ready reporting packages.
Maintain the general ledger, including booking accruals and ensuring timely, accurate reporting across multiple entities.
Review lease agreements and amendments, making sure all details are properly entered into the accounting system.
Collaborate with vendors, tenants, and internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and support ongoing property operations.
Manage and mentor a junior property accountant, helping to drive efficiency and accountability across the team.
