An trendy and thriving entertainment company in West Los Angeles is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and creative industry. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting functions while supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing and posting journal entries
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Support accounts payable and receivable processes
Help maintain accurate general ledger records
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures
Prepare and maintain accounting reports and documentation
Support audit requests and internal control procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
1+ year of relevant accounting experience (internships and full-time roles considered)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Interest in the entertainment industry is a plus
Work Schedule:
Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote (subject to team needs)
