Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Technical Systems Analyst focused on JD Edwards for a 6-month assignment with one of our premier utility clients in San Jose, Clinton CT, or New Braunfels TX. Responsibilities :
Support system upgrades, maintenance, and user training.
Troubleshoot issues and manage system configurations.
Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley).
Train users, document procedures, and optimize system performance.
Manage user access and perform backups/disaster recovery.
Translate technical concepts into business terms and conduct analyses.
Required Skills
Strong analytical and technical skills.
Knowledge of financial systems, accounting principles, and system integration.
Skilled in managing system updates, user roles, and documentation.
Bachelor's in IS, CS, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Financial planning systems that includes a minimum of 2 years of experience with Oracle Financials, EPM FCCS, and EDM Cloud)
5+ years in a similar role, focusing on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne financial applications, PowerPlan, Transform AP, and Hubble.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and system administration tasks.
Familiar with SOX compliance and internal controls.
Experience with software development, system integration, and data reporting tools.
Knowledge of network/PC operating systems.
