Tasks include assisting faculty and students with checking equipment in and out, reporting printer / technology issues in the labs, providing general information, filing, occasional data entry, photocopying, answering phones, picking up campus mail, running errands on campus, and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Work-study eligibility preferred Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel Previous experience in an office environment Must be full-time Lamar University student Must have 2.0 cumulative GPA Must be an undergraduate student and a non-nursing major (no pre-nursing or BSN students) Basic filing skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to follow directions Must be able to work efficiently and accurately Must be prompt and dependable Have a professional manner Work Hours: Flexible hours Monday through Friday Job Conditions: Primarily inside environment. Hourly position. Pay is $10/hour. In need of individuals who can work morning shifts, opening at 7:30am.
