Maintenance Clerk at American Woodmark in Riverside, California

Job Description:

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate responsibility, show initiative and take ownership in fulfilling the duties noted below.  The Maintenance Inventory Clerk will report to the local Maintenance Supervisor.  This is a full time hourly position.

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

• 
  Maintain the spare parts inventory cage.


• 
  Must demonstrate literacy with Windows based computer software and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.


• 
  Good written and verbal communication skills.


• 
  Become proficient in the use of JD Edwards P&E module.


• 
  Understand the complete work order process with issuing parts through JDE.


• 
  Perform as Dispatcher for production floor Maintenance support.


• 
  Perform bulk audits and cycle counts with variance investigation.


• 
  Request parts to be ordered based on stock levels, usage and lead times.


• 
  Perform all receiving with inventory parts direct through RF Gen.


• 
  Document and ship vendor returns and offsite repairs.


• 
  Research as needed to aid techs in finding the correct parts.


• 
  Change part locations for logical grouping.


• 
  Assist with No-Demand evaluations.


• 
  Maintain library of technical manuals.


• 
  Keep inventory, non-inventory and supply stock areas clean and organized.


• 
  Have good attendance and work habits.


• 
  Exhibit a congenial disposition with the ability to work with all levels of management and labor.

 

Additional contributions as a plus:

 

• 
  Experience in JD Edwards software


• 
  Bi-lingual English / Spanish


• 
  Experience in Inventory Control and/or Parts Room Management


• 
  Knowledge of machinery and equipment components.
