Summary

The Director of Marketing leads a strategic, integrated, audience-focused marketing approach for the Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, encompassing both online and on-ground programs. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance visibility, reputation and enrollment. This role oversees traditional and digital marketing and content creation to attract prospective students and promote the school's academic programs, research, and community impact. The director conducts market research and monitors and analyzes key performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Journalism, Communications, English, Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Public Relations, or a related field* Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a demonstrated record of increasing responsibility in strategic planning, campaign management, or digital marketing leadership.* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in higher education digital and traditional marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience creating web content using a CMS (Drupal experience preferred)* Experience with web/social monitoring tools* Understanding of public health topics, trends, and workforce demands* Experience with project management tools* Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
