About the Role:


As a Software Engineer in this contingent resource role, you will play a key part in driving complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives. You'll consult on strategic technical challenges, evaluate multifaceted systems, and contribute to the development of scalable, high-impact solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and emerging AI technologies.


Responsibilities:

• Lead and consult on high-impact software engineering projects with broad technical scope and long-term implications.


• Analyze and resolve complex engineering challenges involving multiple variables, including novel or ambiguous factors.


• Collaborate cross-functionally with client teams to align technical solutions with business goals.


• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, policies, and best practices.


• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable systems leveraging modern cloud and AI technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or equivalent experience through consulting, military service, or education.


• 3+ years of experience working with cloud computing platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).


• 3+ years of experience managing or developing on GPU clusters.


• 2+ years of experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).


• 2+ years of experience with Apache Iceberg or similar data lakehouse technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.


• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).


• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks.
